EUROPEAN – INTERNATIONAL LAW

The European Court of Human Rights is an international court established in 1959 and is competent for individual or State appeals against the violation of human and civil rights based on the European Convention for Human Rights. Its resolutions are binding for the States and have led Governments into amending their legislation and their administrative practices in various fields.
